A restaurant and cantina, they have live Mariachi music. The food is good.
The cool thing is the decoration, they have a lot of Mexican objects and all the ceiling is covered up with "Mexican Lotería characters" (Lotería is like the Mexican Bingo). It is cool to go with a large group of people.

Tlaquepaque is a little town next to the city of Guadalajara. You can find plazas, stores, restaurants, bars, etc. It is the perfect place to spend an afternoon shopping, trying Tequilas and getting to know more about Mexico.
You will find in some restaurants beautiful Mexican girls greeting you and inviting you to try out the Tequilas in their restaurant. You can ask any of the waiters to explain you the different Tequilas and a bit of their history, everybody is very friendly. Also the plazas are filled with lots different stands with traditional Mexican candy, ice cream, and all kinds of snacks.

A traditional Mexican Restaurant. They have one in the city of Guadalajara but I recommend the to visit the one in Tlaquepaque, since they have shows and the town is beautiful. The food is delicious, guacamole, queso flameado (melted cheese with Chorizo), lots of meat and handmade corn tortillas.
When ever I go, I always order "Tampiqueña", It is a huge platter with arrachera (grilled meat) with guacamole, white rice, fried beans, a *quesadilla. It is delicious, they also have quesadillas for appetizers, I fully recommend to try the "flor de calabaza quesadillas". They have a drink with Tequila called "Cazuelas" is like a flat bowl with sprite, and Tequila, slices of orange, lime, lemon and grapefruit. You drink it with a straw, they are really good but also strong, if you drink lots of these you can end up dancing with the Mariachi. *Quesadillas are corn tortillas with melted cheese inside, but you can add other ingredients to it, besides the cheese. When the dancing show starts, make sure to watch the dance of the "Iguana" .
